Quantum Advantage is involved in a wide range of social engagement work. We want to see all people and organisations continue to grow and succeed. This desire is not limited to the business world and we are actively involved in a range of volunteer and pro-bono work to engage with individuals and community organisations to help them achieve their goals.
Through social engagement, if some of our time can benefit the community and this helps make the world be a better place then we are keen to help out whereever we can. All of us at Quantum Advantage aim to spend 10% of our time on social engagement activities helping individuals and organisations where our values are aligned.
A couple of our social engagement activities include ....
Working with Charities
We often work with charities and other organisations that are working hard to make the world we live in a better place.
We provide our time, skills & experiences to help the organisation grow & succeed. In turn this helps them achieve their own goals & aspirations.
KidsXpress is a dynamic program for children 4-14yrs who have faced challenges, loss and or trauma in their lives. During the KidsXpress program kids are finding ways to cope with their situation through music, art and drama therapies, providing kids with the foundation to learn positive coping mechanisms for life.
Experiences such as being bullied at school, the separation of parents, receiving chemotherapy for cancer, watching your sibling or parent die, or being subjected to abuse & neglect, and many others all can have devastating effects on the child and their future strategies to cope with life. But at KidsXpress children are finding their voice making meaningful music, healing through colour in art, exploding energy through paint throwing & acting out life in drama. Most of all KidsXpress is empowering children to believe in themselves and express life.
If you are interested to find out more about this innovative program please visit their website on http://www.kidsxpress.org.au/ or contact Margo Ward, CEO at KidsXpress on (02) 9380 9220.
